He has been PARADIGMA's managing director and principal since 1993.  As principal he was instrumental in the development of the business, with a particular focus on strategic management consulting and enabling the company's participation in major international projects, such as reorganization projects in the social security systems of Slovakia and Saudi Arabia and Transnational European projects in transport and trade.

Rudolf is also active member of several organizations:

  • Member of AUSTRIAPRO' s board of directors, and chair of AUSTRIAPRO' s eTrade and Transport workgroup.
  • Since 1998 delegate of the Austrian Ministry of Commerce and Labor to UN/CEFACT' s TBG and contributes actively to the development of standards.
  • Co-chair of the eLogistics forum of the Austrian Computer Society (OCG).

Prior to his management consultancy career he held the post of CIO at Perlmooser AG, a major Austrian industrial conglomerate and cement producer. He started his career at IBM, where he was trained as a system engineer and worked in the public sector. Subsequently he held foreign residency (US) and assignment positions as a program manager for Business Plans at IBM Europe's headquarter in Paris, France.

Upon returning from abroad he assumed management responsibilities in IBM Austria, developing IBM Austria's service and consulting strategy and driving efforts to develop professional application software for SME' s in Austria.

He is a graduate of the Technical University of Vienna with a degree in mathematics and economics.
